Summary: Supervised two Members of Information Technology Staff (59), two Information Technology Specialist (58), one Document Processor (94), one Computer Operator (93). Responsible for all hardware, software, training and support, for office and remote use (approximately 350 computers). Software support includes HP's PC COE standard as well as four SQL/NT databases including NT 4.0 servers and one Netware server. Also the department web site on an internal and external web server with ASP. Oversee budget of over $2 million.

Position: Systems Administrator (level 58)
Resp: (10/86 to 2/87) Training three managers in Marketing Services on the use of HP150, Portable Plus and HP75 computers including training in WordStar, Lotus 123, and some HP3000 functions, hardware and software. Facilitator of Corporate Distribution TQC team.

Position: Traffic Manager (level 59)
Resp: (2/85 to 10/86) Including Traffic, Shipping, and Packaging responsibilities. Three supervisors, managing a total of 24 employees.
Supervisor: Buddy Tawater
Summary: Major projects included reduction of shipment errors from 2.0% to 0.1% with the use of TQC techniques. Also, developed bar code system for inventory process, reducing overall time to take inventory from three days to one. Was involved with the instillation of SHIP at SCS. Set up targeting on Lotus 123.

Position: QA Inspection Supervisor (level 58)
Reliability Test Lab Supervisor (level 57)
Resp: (6/84 to 2/85) QA inspection including Incoming, Inprocess and Outgoing QA. Also handled source audits by various companies and DESC. (9/79 to 8/81) Scheduling Reliability tests for division. Review scheduling procedures and technical support between the Lab and Reliability engineers.

Supervisors: Sharam Kamalie, Dave Colicchio and Lall Jain
Summary: Outgoing and Inprocess QA, plus Quality Teams training. Primary function was to review supervisor techniques and coach superiors on MBO style o management. Generated tracking reports using Query 3000 to give visibility to system problem areas resulting in improved throughput. Redefined inspection function and improved documentation to conform to the new definition. System manager backup for Product Assurance. Trainer for Personnel, one class per month WHP, plus QT and TQC training.

Resp: (8/73 to 9/79) Repair and calibration of test equipment. Production testing.
Summary: While in the Apprentice Program, worked with many of the divisions to help them improve the training for their apprentices. Wrote the turn on procedure for the 21MX series computers.
